Fifth Worldwide Photo Walk
Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk is an annual event now in its fifth year. It’s a charity event but it’s free to enter and all you need is something to take pictures with – even a phone.
There are walks at over 1300 locations around the world and at the last count, there are nearly 26,500 walkers involved. I’m organising the walk in Windsor this year.
The event runs on Saturday October 13 around the world but the start time is picked by the local walk organiser. This means that the event actually spans three days worldwide. There’s a Google+ event page where you can track the event in real time. It’ll be a busy page with thousands of walkers posting pictures as their walk progresses.
We’re starting near the castle at 15:00 and heading into Eton before finishing off in some of the wonderful old side streets in Windsor.
You can find more information about the Windsor walk and register to take part here. Remember, it’s free but you can buy merchandise to support the charity.
